With over 7 years of experience in the fitness industry across a wide variety of settings, I’ve had the opportunity to work in both commercial gyms and smaller gyms, as well as on international cruise ships. In addition to my work as a personal trainer, I’ve also advanced my own knowledge and skills by completing a strength and conditioning certification, which has allowed me to work with several professional organizations across different sports. I’m all about having fun, bringing high energy, and always creating challenging workouts.

As an Exercise Science / Exercise Physiology / Physiotherapy student, I’m passionate about evidence-based training and teaching/creating programs that are purposeful and support progression.

I come from a background in dance, swimming and over 5 years of weightlifting, which has sparked my love for functional training and building strength. When I’m not in the gym, I love swimming at the beach, getting a pastry and coffee at a café, or trying out new dinner recipes/ baking a sweet treat!

Alex

Being active has always been a constant in my life, as I believe it has benefits beyond physical health. Doing exercise of one sort or another has helped me through hard times. I think it’s even more critical as we get older. Therefore, after a long career in finance, a transition into the fitness industry made perfect sense to me.

I also have a strong desire to assist others, and therefore working towards being a personal trainer was a logical next step. By the way, I’m also a swim instructor at UNSWFAC, so I might be able to help with your swimming technique as well!

Outside the gym you see me listening to 80’s music and enjoying the natural world (Centennial Park is a favourite).

With over 7 years of weightlifting experience and a sporting background I’ve developed a coaching style that is fun / technique-driven, ensuring every lift is performed with purpose. I prioritises building solid foundations first — creating long term results rather than short-term fixes.

Whether the goal is gaining muscle, getting stronger, or improving overall fitness, i delivers clear programming and practical guidance to help clients progress with confidence

I’m a passionate Personal Trainer keen to help people improve their lives through exercise! I strongly believe that everyone can benefit from strength training, no matter your age, gender, ability or disability. Applying my knowledge from studying exercise physiology, I deliver individualized training sessions in an inclusive and empathetic manner to help you achieve your goal!

Having represented Australia at the Rio 2016 Paralympics and 2023 Cerebral Palsy Football Asian Cup, I know what it takes to get to the highest level. I also hold two Track & Field World Records, and multiple Australian records. I’m keen to coach all my clients with the same drive and intensity that I apply to my own training, whilst also keeping sessions enjoyable!

With over 6 years of weightlifting and a love for powerlifting, I’ve seen firsthand how strength training can transform both body and mind. What began as a hobby is now a lifestyle that’s made me more athletic, disciplined, and eager to help others feel their best. I believe training should be something you look forward to – challenging, yes, but also fun and rewarding. Whether you’re pushing for a PB or just learning to move with confidence, sessions with me bring a balance of focused work, plenty of encouragement and a good laugh.
